plex-tui
A terminal-first Plex experience.
plex-tui is a terminal-first Plex client for people who are already at home in a shell. It treats media browsing as a maintained surface: libraries, metadata, player controls, and diagnostics arranged so the system remains legible.
The project emphasizes a durable command surface, clear supportability paths, and a focused text interface that can sit comfortably beside the rest of a local toolchain.
For a more user-facing overview and install notes, see the dedicated plex-tui landing page.
Shape
- Browse Plex libraries from a terminal-first interface.
- Move quickly through media details and playback actions.
- Keep diagnostics close to the product, not hidden in a support script.
- Favor explicit commands, stable behavior, and release discipline.
